CPR Instructor

This program prepares qualified individuals to become certified CPR Instructors.

Students are required to have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) card (a copy must be brought to class) per American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Additionally, candidates must complete a BLS Essentials online and 2020 updates modules. The link will be provided; once completed, print the certificate and bring it to the classroom session.

The training consists of:

• Successful completion of the in-person instructor classroom portion.
• Being monitored while teaching your first course within six months of the classroom session.

Class Material: A BLS Instructor Manual is included. Participants should bring a 3-ring 1 1/2 inch binder or larger.
